Plethera Continued...Amanda and Derek in B&W

Thanks again to Andrea Casey.

Plethera of Edits

Welcome to the crazy world of editing like a fiend :) I recently learned some cool photoshop editing actions, and I had to play. Some of these have yet to be posted from a few weeks ago. The wedding is from this past weekend - Amanda and Derek got married in a mansion overlooking Keuka Lake. I shot this wedding with Andrea Casey who has been so great to let me come along with her to weddings.

Please check out her web site!

This is our yard. I often take the dogs for a "walk" by sitting on this swing for 20 minutes and then bringing them back in.

Mickey is so photogenic. He's always posing in great light for me.

I re-edited this photo. I like it better this way. What do you think?

Canoe Race in the Adirondacks

Weekend of fun in the...rain :). I went up to see my good friend Joey and his dad paddle in a 90 mile canoe race. Their friends from Potsdam were there as well, and Scott got picked up at the last minute to join a canoe in the race. It looks like he had a good time :)

Labor Day Weekend!

Howdy all! It's been a while since I last blogged. This weekend was a blast. I spent time with so many people and ran all over central NY. Day 1 I went to a balloon festival with my friend Ellen. Day 2 I went hiking up a stream bed with my good friend Katherine. Day 3 was just a beautiful late summer day and spent the afternoon outside with the dogs. Here are some of my favorite from the weekend.

This is our puppy Mickey. He's lucky he's so cute, considering we still have him around and he's still not completely house broken.

This one is my favorite of the hiking pictures. The stream is used to a lot more water, and there were dozens of places that were very shallow. The sky and trees reflected off these barely-wet areas made for amazing abstract shapes and colors.

In case you are wondering...that is a giant purple people-eater hot air balloon.
