Weekend of freedom in Glenwood Springs, CO

An amazing place, amazing light, an amazing weekend, and an amazing God. I had so much fun hiking around and exploring the area around the Glenwood Springs B&B Sunlight Mountain Inn. I will be back!

I honestly stumbled upon Doc Holliday's grave. It was a place I had wanted to see for a while, and as I drove to a sushi place, I saw the sign and hiked up there just as the sun was setting. I found his grave, and told him what a cool cat he was. He really was. :)

As I played with my macro lens, I found a little buddy.

Yeah, it was time to take another self portrait.

I really like this one.

Can you see the bear claw marks? Yeah, I suddenly felt very alone in those woods, although I was endeared to the thought of a winnie-the-pooh like bear climbing up the tree.
